Hey Danny,

Send us a phone battery and we will send you back a dummy with external cabling. Then you can attach this 15K MAH battery. You could do five flights in a day with this battery!

http://www.all-battery.com/li-ion3-7v15600mahrechargeablebattery31059-1.aspx

Don't beat yourself up...a little known fact is that NASA lost track of a number of astronauts mysteriously when they first started out. Alan Shepard wasn't really the first American in space...NASA just never mentioned Larry Wilhelm and Bob McFarley, the real first Americans that landed, oddly enough, somewhere near Divide and were never heard from again (and are now presumed to be living quietly on a farm out of the media's prying eyes...)

Not sure, but I thought I saw a temperature report before lost contact of over 110 degrees. Thought that was quite high. I know the handwarmers were in there, but maybe if you don't think you need that much heat, you could lower the payload with fewer warmers.....

Well the launch was incredibly exciting to watch Danny so I think you and you're team did a great job. Its a huge shame that its MIA, but I'm sure the next launch will be successful.

Have you any money left over to do a helicopter sweep of the area?? That bright red/orange parachute shouldn't be too hard to spot from the air? I know its a long shot but hey :P

Perhaps on launch 2 it might be worth following Astdroid from the ground? If your GPS data is correct you should be able to catch its decent and have no worries about where it landed?

They're the only suggestions I can think of!

Really excited about the next launch, perhaps we could get TWiT to stream it live? That would be awesome. I'll send out some emails.

Once again, well done guys, fingers remain crossed for the recovery effort!
Lets just hope some one didn't find it and think 'ooo free phone!', mind you if they did I'm sure the Astdroid app would let you know.

-Ben
